Benji & Banden are finally ready to present their debut album! After several years of practicing, gigging, and a couple of EPs under their belt, the Oslo-based band is now finally ready to present their debut album. Their sing-along-friendly songs have become a household name among fans and concert-goers in recent years, with almost all of their songs receiving airplay on radio and placement in playlists.

They saying is that you shouldn't mess with a winning concept, but when Benji & The Gang entered the studio this time, they brought along a sledgehammer and gasoline to shake things up a bit. Metaphorically, of course, but their familiar sound with sing-alongs and cheeky guitar riffs has been pushed to the extreme on En sånn en. The album is recorded and produced by the band themselves, with guitarist Ask Dørmænen Lie behind the controls.

But don't worry, it's still the recognizable Benji & Banden we encounter here. This album has become a representation of the band – exactly as they are. What you're served on their debut album is also what you get when you go see them in concert.

Vocalist and songwriter Benjamin Riis says the following about the album: This time, it was important for us not to repeat ourselves. It was simply crucial for us to move forward. We knew early on that we wanted to go for a harder sound than we had before, and in that way, create a greater contrast between the songs. We simply wanted to record a rock album that we ourselves would want to listen to.
